First regional, then we will see.

Let us libertarians not be affected by the general strike by what the Portuguese republicans were affected by by the political revolution, who said and say they were ready to do it, but who are waiting for the Spanish republicans to carry it out by common agreement.

And the years go by and by...!

The most probable thing is that the general strike, before being international, will be national, and before being national, it will be regional. Let the comrades not be concerned about what they do in other regions or in other countries.

Prepare yourselves in your respective localities; organize the various trades of a region; take the bakers, flour millers, butchers and all those who are related to food products and transport services, the necessary measures to ensure the distribution service the day after the Revolution, and then take advantage of the first opportunity to declare a general strike.

Let us be sure that if at some important point in a nation the proletarian class takes possession of the universal patrimony, destroying everything that is reminiscent of capitalist society, the workers of the neighboring districts will soon follow suit.

Once the new production, exchange and distribution of products has begun, it will be possible to proceed to the demolition of unhealthy streets and neighborhoods; construction of hygienic houses; seizure of all the metal and paper money existing in private homes, banks and public offices, which money will cease to circulate in the communist country, the Federation reserving it for indispensable purchases in other regions or other towns.

Let the revolutionaries not fear foreign intervention, when their work has been successful. At the slightest attempt to reestablish a government in any neighboring nation, a general strike is declared there as well, and then the International Communist Federation would begin.

Let us therefore activate the regional organization of the workers for the general strike as a prelude to the Social Revolution.
